Yesterday, I found a theme that I finally felt would work. The angles, the colors, all different enough that I wouldn’t go mad looking at it, but simple enough that I’m not going to have to download 16 plugins just to figure out how to change the header. Good. Done. Now to post and get some content on here so it doesn’t look like a wasteland.
The last couple days, I’ve spent more time working on figuring out my own website than on writing. That bugs me. I was moving along pretty well, and I’ve slowed. I’m kind of stuck in this part where the boys go home and see their father again, and part of the reason i’m stuck is because in the original draft, he wasn’t part of it so much, until the big confrontation. I think it’s fitting that they see him again. It fits in with the fully fleshed out world I’m building for Sons of E’din. But its difficult to tie everything together and not let the scenes spiral out of control. I’ve already rewritten scenes seven times, including ones where I scrapped the entire part and changed the outcome.
I’ve spent more time on this part of the story than I probably did developing the whole Hunt, and that required math.
